Calling Hotel Pachon

If there is something wrong with the room you have organized to stay in, you may call 440 from the hotel foyer or the summit control room and request help. During working hours, (Monday - Friday) this extension will connect to the Cerro Pachón mountain assistant. During weekends, this extension is forwarded to the mountain assistant on Cerro Tololo. They will call directly to staff on Cerro Pachón to attend to after-hours hotel issues. Some examples are if the key is not hanging on the second floor for you, there is no hot water, or the heat is off and you want to request a space heater, etc. Staff mostly speak Spanish only.

The phone in the control room can only dial the United States and Chile. Other countries cannot be reached. If you need to reach a person in another country, use WhatsApp, Slack, or the Satellite phone in the control room.
